I am an expert at developing press releases, web articles, and feature stories to raise the visibility of scientific research for a broader audience. I have written articles for a variety of topics and have pitched and placed content in prominent outlets, including The New York Times, Forbes, The Washington Post, STAT News, NPR, and foreign outlets, including Le Monde, Der Spiegel, and BBC.

Technical Editing

I am an adept editor who can elevate the author’s voice while bringing clarity and plain language to the content. I have coordinated, reconciled, and edited content from multiple contributors to produce a coherent product with a unified voice and style while maintaining the organization’s brand. I am the author of two textbooks and technical editor on two additional textbooks.

Larger Projects

I have worked with scientific organizations to prepare minutes during annual and quarterly meetings to share outcomes with constituents and preserve a record of discussions for future consideration.

I have also prepared annual reports to share the organization’s accomplishments with their stakeholders.

I have prepared and edited content for newsletters to present the latest scientific findings for an external and internal audience.
